L.A. Trip 2010

Wazzup! I got back from L.A. at 5:00 this morning. I went with my little cousin Noah, and my aunt and uncle. We went to Universal Studios, Pink's Hot Dogs (Mmm... chili cheese dog.), The Walk of Fame, and Santee Alley.
The first day we met them at a mall and just hung out at Citywalk for dinner at Pink's. Then we went to check in to our hotels. We stayed at the Renaissance and they stayed at Extended Stay America.
The next day we went to Universal and after I ran out screaming from the House of Horrors, my mom got hurt so we had a front of the line pass or the rest of the day. We got in first at the Studio Tour and the guide actually talked to us, so that was cool. We also got in to a show when it was just about to start (they had already closed the gates.) Just about everywhere they saw the wheelchair and Boom! we're in. It was pretty fun.
The day after that, we went to Santee Alley and did some shopping. My aunt got a humongous hat and I almost got some knock off Converse-boots. (So close, but so far...) After that we ate at Pink's again.
The next next day, we went to Canter's Deli and I had my first patty melt. I'm still not sure I liked it... We were supposed to eat with my cousin, aunt, and uncle but my parents got a phone call with my aunt screaming "Oh my God! We found the Koji truck!" They chased it for a while but when it stopped, there was no parking so they met us at Canter's. After eating we hung out at the Walk of Fame and did a little more shopping.
The day after that, we went to Universal for a shorter time. We didn't get to be in the front of the line any more (*sigh*) but we still had fun. After it closed, we separated (they went to the hotel) and we watched Toy Story 3 at Citywalk.
On the very last day, we just hung out around L.A. and after they had left for home, we found the Koji truck again and there was parking! We ordered my aunt a burrito and stuffed it in a cooler. I had a couple tacos and they were great! If you ever go to L.A., you need to go to the Koji truck (order the BBQ short rib taco!) Yum...
Anyway see you later... (BTW, keep in mind that I finished writing this two months after it happened. I actually did start it on the day I got back, though. I have really bad memory so I wracked my brain to find out how to write this. I still think it's out of order. Heh heh...)

Obsession

Okay, It's official. I AM ADDICTED TO VOCALOID! My favorites are Rin and Len. I luv their ROAD ROLLA! I also like Miku. (Leeks are weird. O_O) If you don't know what Vocaloid is scroll down and let it blow your mind. (I put down multiple versions for some songs.)

Left to Right: Len* (the youngest cutest one), Miku (the sweetest leek-iest one), and Rin* (the evilest other cutest one)

Here are some links to a couple of my favorite vids:

*BTW, even though some people think that they're a couple, I think they're twins so no argument comments. They will be deleted. Also: Yes. Len is a guy. Even though he has a fluffy ponytail, he is a guy! (You have to trust me.)

Bye School (and other matters).

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Anyway, school ended the day before yesterday, but it felt like a regular Friday. I can't believe I'm in sixth grade! We finished reading Through the Looking Glass (second book of Alice in Wonderland) and had an Unbirthday Party. I'm sad my awesome teacher, Ms. Caillier had to leave my school.

Stuff I Forgot to Write About

On June 3rd I went to Great America again. I rode a whole bunch of rides and finally rode Flight Deck. Invertigo was closed and I had to ride everything with the sixth graders again. We got drenched twice, ate Dippin' Dots (for once the Dippin' Dots stands were open!), and sang songs on the bus home. We had so much fun!

I also saw Iron Man 2 and Prince of Persia. I thought Iron Man that was great and I thought that Prince of Persia was a little intense for Disney but still pretty good.

Long Weekend. Yayz.

Yesterday I rode my bike to a Giants Game (not all the way, just up Embarcadero from near Pier 39.) We got our handout (skateboard decks!) and parked our bikes at the new bike "parking lot." We had lunch down the street at Amici's, bought snacks at Safeway and came back to get our seats. It was a close game, but the Giants beat the D-backs 6 - 5. (Duh!) After that we got to run the bases and we got lollipops (See's butterscotch. Yum!) GOOOOOOOO GIANTS! TAKE THAT DBACKS! WOOHOO!
The day before that, I went to Golden Gate National Cemetery with my brother's Boy Scouts troop to put in some flags. After that, we went to watch Iron Man 2 which was preeetty good. (Not pretty good, preeetty good.)
So far, I've had a good Memorial Day weekend. Happy Memorial Day! L8rz!

Substitute.

Yesterday we had a substitute who looked so much like Jasper Hale from Twilight that some kids started calling him Mr. Cullen. My friend Tangi pulled up a picture from the movie and showed it to him. (Heh heh...) He was a really nice teacher with a good sense of humor though. Byez!

Hamster Help

I noticed recently that Azuki has a bald patch on her back and cheek. It's red, flaky, and dry. Can anyone tell me what this is or how to fix it? (Right now I've decided to spray her with tea tree oil and water cuz' I think it's mites.)

UPDATE: YAY! THE BALD SPOTS ARE GETTING SMALLER! (I didn't do tea tree oil like I said I would because they got smaller a couple days after I said that.)

Exploratorium

Yesterday I went to the Exploratorium in San Francisco with my cousin. My favorite part was definitely the black magnetic sand. After we were done, we went to Nation's for burgers. (My cousin had her first burger at Nation's yesterday! ☺) We had a lot of fun.

Random Item of the Week 3/14/10 - 3/20/10

This week, the random item is Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I picked this cuz' I watched a whole mess of Harry Potter movies this weekend.

Alice in Wonderland

'Sup people! I just got back from seeing Alice in Wonderland. It was a pretty good movie. I loved the part where the March Hare starts babbling something unintelligible and randomly looks at his spoon and says "Spoon!" Well, l8r!

Tootsie Pop

I ate a Tootsie Pop and it took me 515 licks to reveal a sliver of the Tootsie Roll center! (Finally! Somebody knows how many licks it takes to get to the center!)

I'm Yours

I'm going to sing and (maybe) play I'm Yours by Jason Mraz (which is one of my favorite songs) for my school talent show. Here are the chords/tabs/lyrics:

e----7/9/7--7/9-----7/9-------------------

g------------------------------8--8--8/9----

B F# G#m F#7
(repeat as needed)

Well you done done me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill but you're so hot that I melted
I fell right through the cracks
Now I'm trying to get back
Before the cool done run out
I'll be giving it my bestest
And nothing's going to stop me but divine intervention
I reckon it's again my turn to win some or learn some

But I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm yours

Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and yes you're free
Look into your heart and you'll find love love love love
Listen to the music of the moment people dance and sing
We're just one big family
And It's our God-forsaken right to be love love love love loved

So I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait I'm sure
There's no need to complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I'm yours

Do you want to come on
Scooch on over closer dear
And I will nibble your ear

I've been spending way too long checking my tongue in the mirror
And bending over backwards just to try to see it clearer
But my breath fogged up the glass
And so I drew a new face and laughed
I guess what I'm be saying is there ain't no better reason
To rid yourself of vanities and just go with the seasons
It's what we aim to do
Our name is our virtue

But I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait I'm sure

Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and yes you're free
Look into your heart and you'll find that the sky is yours
So, please don't, please don't, please don't
There's no need to complicate
Cause our time is short
This oh this oh this is our fate, I'm yours
